SAFE FESTIVALS

Explore togheter the potential of Safe-Festival project

The project wants to deliver an engaging simulation platform, for organizers, municipalities and security actors of festivals and crowded events in (semi-) public spaces to develop security strategies through collaborative immersive training.

A few things about the project

The project Safe-Festivals began its works at the end of July 2023 after having been succesfully selected as one of the winners of the 1st Open Call of the SecurIT European FSTP project, funded by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 framework. STAM, D-Visor and CNTRL collaborate to implement the project, strenghtening the ongoing synergies among the companies.

The platform

Particularly, the platform is conceived as a multi-player serious gaming environment, able to support event planning, enabling site creation and threat scenarios simulation with different roles and in different conditions. Furthermore, data collected on-site will also enable post-event analysis, allowing for the replay, in delayed mode, of real events to optimize security strategies.

More details

Safe-festivals will be based on the combination of two main components:

D-GEM tool provided by D-Visor

Crowd simulators developed by STAM

The main outcome expected from SAFE-FESTIVALS is the design and implementation of such an innovative and impactful simulation solution
